I am currently restoring my Lee-Enfield MKIII. My friend Trey Cranford has been kind enough to let me use his gunshop to work in, and this project looks like it will be a lot of fun.
According to my friend Trey, the stampings on the gun indicate it was in service in Australia. This is further evinced by the stock which appears to be Australian Coachwood. (I am refinishing the stock first, so figuring this part out was important)
I am preparing a brief history on the model which I will post soon.
